Sightseeing TOUR

The Palapa Cruise is a two hour sightseeing tour of Newport Harbor. This experience includes views of the islands, private estates, and million dollar yachts.

Our objective is to have you leave with a different perspective of Newport Harbor.

Three Cruises per day

Morning: 11:00am – 1:00 pm
Afternoon: 2:00pm – 4:00 pm
Summer Sunset Cocktail: 5:00pm – 7:00 pm

Customized schedule can be accommodated upon availability.

Beverage Service

Enjoy your Palapa Tour with a private bartender who will meet and greet your guests with a welcome cocktail, then enjoy free – flowing libations throughout the two hour cruise. ($300.00)

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there seating for everyone onboard or do we have to stand for two hours?

Yes, there are 4 barstools around the bar and built-in booth seating at the front and stern of the Pontoon.

Are we able to bring our own food and beverages including alcohol?

YES, you may bring on the food/catering of your choice as well as any beverages including alcohol to set up your bar. You will need to bring your own cups, ice, cooler, barware, utensils, etc. and also be responsible for taking these items off of the pontoon when you return to the dock.

Note: the Palapa Bar Tour with Beverage Service & Bartender includes: juice, soft drinks, bottled water & alcohol listed on the homepage. There is no need to bring anything but your food/catering.

How far ahead should I make reservations?

We recommend that you make your reservation as early as possible. Most reservations are typically made one to two weeks in advance. If we have availability we can do same day reservation.

What is the cancelation policy?

Deposits made more than 7 days in advance of rental date are refundable or can be transferred to another date if available.

Deposits are non-refundable for cancelations made less than 7 days in advance of rental date.

Failure to cancel within 7 days or less of rental date and time, or arrive late (past your scheduled rental time) the entire boat rental fee is non-refundable and will be charged to the credit card on file.

5% transaction fee for all canceled reservations.

Who drives the boat?

Relax, and enjoy the ride. The Palapa is driven by a licensed Captain.

What is included with my rental?

The Palapa boat, fuel and safety equipment. There are no additional fees other than a gratuity for the captain & bartender.

It is customary to provide a gratuity to each crew member onboard. A $50.00 gratuity is suggested per crew member. Gratuities are always at the discretion of the client.

What is not included with my rental?

Are there toilets aboard the boats?

Yes, we are the only company that has installed marine toilets on our vessels. You may not think this is a big deal now, you will thank us later!

What should I bring along?

Bring something to keep you warm, we recommend a light jacket & blankets.

You may bring food and beverage items of your choice.

What should I NOT bring along?

Please do not bring glass drinking cups.

We are a drug free vessel: absolutely no drugs or illegal substances are allowed aboard.

Can I bring my pet?

Yes, we are pet friendly. Please remember you are responsible for any damages or clean up required.
